The Story of Francesco

My name is Francesco, and my story begins with a scent. The scent of freshly baked bread early in the morning.

I grew up in Italy, in a home where the kitchen was the heart of everything. Flour on our hands, coffee rising in the moka pot, slow Sundays gathered around a full table. That’s where I learned that food is not just nourishment it is memory, identity, and love.

Over time, that passion became a true path. I chose to work in hospitality, to learn every day, to make sacrifices, to grow through long shifts, hot kitchens, and ovens that never stopped burning. I understood that behind a well-made dough there is not only technique, but patience. And behind a simple dish done well, there is respect.

When I moved to Stockholm, I brought all of this with me: my roots, my experience, and the desire to build something that truly represents who I am.

Francesco Forno e Cucina was born this way. Not as an improvised idea, but as the result of years of work, dreams, and determination. Every focaccia, every tray of pizza, every dish that leaves the kitchen tells a part of my journey. It tells the story of the Italy I come from and the city I now call home.

This is not just a restaurant. It is my way of giving back what I have learned. It is the desire to create a place that feels authentic, warm, and sincere.

A place where the oven stays on, and where anyone who walks in can feel, even just for a moment, the scent of home.
